The Spaceman USA equipment that you are purchasing will give you many years of trouble-free service if you follow the instructions contained in the machine’s owner’s manual. It is the responsibility of the buyer to follow the instructions of the machine owner’s manuals, take advantage of Spaceman USA’s online video tutorials, learn to operate the equipment correctly, and train all employees to operate the equipment correctly.
R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.

The representative will confirm proper installation, perform a functionality test, and train the operator on cleaning and operating the machine. The operator must have the following items on hand and available for use during training: soft-serve mix or other frozen product to run through machines, no-rinse food-grade sanitizer solution, a bucket, and an operational three-compartment sink.
Available only in the contiguous United States. Excludes mobile kitchens and non-commercial applications.

INTERNATIONAL USERS:For users outside the United States, Spaceman offers a one year part warranty. Any labor costs incurred by an onsite technician are not covered.
Condensers must be cleaned annually (at a minimum) and documented by buyer in order to maintain the compressor warranty. RESIDENTIAL USERS: Spaceman assumes no liability for parts or labor coverage for component failure or other damages resulting from installation in non-commercial or residential applications. Your warranty will be voided if installed in non-commercial or residential applications.

We have owned this unit for 2.5 years. In that time frame, we have spent almost $5000 in "out of warranty" repairs including fans, circuit boards, and other things that shouldnt be dead yet. We are a not a major ice cream chain, we are a small business and we clean the machine as instructed every 3 days. This has been the most disappointing equipment purchase we have had in all of our years in business, and I will not purchase a spaceman machine again. Also, we push the buttons on the front 4 times a day, and the front face has broken and of course is also not under warranty. I guess these are just made with cheap parts. They also wont send their repair folks to you if your machine is out of warranty, even if you offer to pay. They require you to hire an outside company which charges $119 per hour in labor alone. Its been a very disappointing investment, one of which I regret greatly.
