Purchased 9 of these table tops. Within 4 to 6 months the butcher block vaneer started to open up and separate, looked awful. I called and was told I only had 10 days from ship date to return the items. Now ALL tops are so bad had to throw them ALL out and by different ones. Horrible craftsmanship and no recourse if finish goes bad. Won't buy furniture here again

I was not sure I would like these. We have used butcher block tables before and they have split in short order. There is no telling whether these will suffer the same fate, but as of now (18 months of commercial use) they look new, ignoring the scratches from kids, etc.
There has been no warping, splitting, or any other defects that would detract from the overall aesthetics. I am very pleased with these tables and with over two dozen, I can wholeheartedly recommend them!
