This Kason® 56 Safeguard® 10056L06021 latch is a direct replacement for the one that came standard on your equipment. This item includes the latch body in a brushed chrome finish, with a light spring. With a positive locking, heavy-duty design that's engineered to outlast similar latches in commercial use, this latch works to keep doors closed and retain holding temperatures properly. And since the latch also padlocks, you can use it to prevent theft or tampering during off-hours, too. It is made from high pressure die-cast zinc, with a 300 series stainless steel handle. It has holes drilled and countersunk for 1/4" screws.
