I really like this as opposed to the more rectangular bait stations. This is far easier to reload and check on and it felt really solid once bolted down to the ground (which also prevents it from getting kicked around by passer-bys).

A vertical, top-loading bait holder will store 1/2 lb. of JT Eaton Bait Block to lure in mice and other rodents.

Seems to be effective. Vole activity has definitely diminished in the month I've been using these, and dogs/kids/bald eagles/etc. cannot get into the station, which is good. I bought 3 of them, which I move as needed, probably about every 5 days or so. I had thought about making these myself instead of buying them. You probably could, but there's more to the interior than you think, including baffles and a metal wire that the bait hangs from. Buy these, they're worth it!
We use this product with #605JT709PN it is very easy to set up and a nice non-noticeable product. It just kind of fades into whatever it is by. Easy to load and use I would recommend this product.
This rat bait station is really nice it’s made by JT eaten it was a low price I really like how easy it was to load with pellets and it’s nice that the cat won’t get into the rat bait
We had mice getting into the boxes in our attic and shed. Nothing worked until I bought two of these bait stations and filled them with One Bite Bars. Easy to use, the provided key removes the screw to open the top. Bait bars are threaded onto a rod to hang from the top. As the mice crawl through to chew on the bait, more bait slides down the rod. Safe for kids and pets. Haven't seen a mouse for years! I check the stations every week or so and refill when needed.
