The thick, highly polished 1" steel plate boasts a 36" cooking surface to keep up with a large range of menu items like eggs, grilled cheeses, and burgers. This unit has 2 burners, each with a heating power of 30,000 BTU.

The steel construction provides the unit with excellent heat retention and quick recovery, ensuring your products will be cooked to perfection. The aeration baffles between the 2 burners spread heat evenly across the plate, while a full width rear flue also helps to uniformly distribute heat across the surface. Plus, each burner has an adjustable gas valve control and a continuous pilot light for added precision and efficiency when cooking.

This unit is thermostatically controlled and will maintain the selected temperature through even your busiest hours. The control knobs are cast aluminum with heat protection grips for safe use. The durable stainless steel exterior and one-piece rolled ledge make for easy cleaning, and the 4" grease gutter and removable 1 gallon grease can maintain sanitary conditions. Complete with 4" stainless steel legs, this unit can be easily placed on an equipment stand or refrigerated base. A natural gas connection is required for operation.

I have had the warranty company come out three times in the first 4 months owing it. None of the controls control the heat accurately other than the middle one. About to call them out for a 5th time. Thought I would spend a little more money and get one that wouldn't have problems and perhaps last longer, but it has been bad since day 1. AVOID

Purchased this to replace a 24" unit in a high-volume brew pub. We do smash burgers, grilled chicken/shrimp, cheesesteaks on it primarily. Unit works great, and it's deeper (24" vs 20" on most griddles) which almost doubled our surface cooking area and only taking up 12" more in width. Heats evenly, and the 1" thick plate retains heat even when we are slammed. Also heats to 550* which we appreciate as we cook at 450*. Cons: Needs heat shielding underneath and between elements and controls. Metal temp knobs get HOT! The grease "chute" needs to be moved slightly to the right, or the grease catch needs to move left as it leaks slightly. 100% would buy again, price to function is excellent.
