With the ability to produce up to 1,445 lb. of ice per day, this Scotsman Prodigy® Plus remote-cooled low side flake ice machine will keep up with the ice demands of your restaurant, bar, or institution! This unit produces flake ice, which cools more quickly than other ice forms and is ideal for seafood and produce displays, as well as for salad bar fruits and vegetables. Plus, its remote condenser (sold separately) can be placed on a roof, outside your building, or in another room to cut down on noise in the room where the ice machine is located.
In order to make upkeep easier and extend the time between routine maintenance, this unit features AutoAlert lights that indicate when it's time to descale and sanitize as well as removable panels for easy access to internal components and the diagnostics interface. Designed for energy efficiency, this model consumes 0.72 kWh of energy per 100 lb. of ice produced. It uses 12 gallons of potable water per 100 lb. of ice produced and the air-cooled condenser uses 100 gallons. The ice heads are designed to operate with external condensing units (sold separately). The refrigeration system utilizes R-404A refrigerant and requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

If the bin or dispenser is wider than the ice machine, additional adapters, deflectors, and/or top kits may be necessary to join the machine to the bin. If your ice machine has been shut down or not in use for a prolonged period time, please reference your machine's user-manual for a restart procedure, often called “Winterization." Please reference your user manual or contact customer service with any questions.
