This space saving Hatco C-13 13.5 kW compact booster water heater has a 6 gallon capacity to provide plenty of hot final rinse water required to properly sanitize and flash-dry dishes and flatware! This electric booster heater is factory pre-plumbed and pre-wired for convenient installation, and it comes with a calibrated immersion thermostat and high-temperature limit switch. Its fiberglass insulation minimizes heat loss, ensuring efficient use. Its water temperature recovery at 40 degrees Fahrenheit is 135 GPH, and 326 GPH at 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

This unit sits on 6" legs. It boasts metal sheathed heating elements, a stainless steel front panel, and a powder-coated body for long-lasting durability. It features temperature and pressure gauges, and its swing-away front panels with low-water cut-off, control fuses, and transformer allow quick access to probes and elements for easy servicing. Incoming water exceeding 3.0 grains of hardness per gallon (GPG) must be treated and softened before being supplied to the booster heater. Water containing over 3.0 GPG will decrease the efficiency and reduce the operating life of the unit. Product failure caused by liming or sediment buildup is not covered under warranty.
