Garde WEDGE8 8-Section Fruit / Vegetable Wedge Cutter

I am not sure who is writing all these great reviews. The price point is great but the quality is terrible. The plastic knob breaks off every 3-4 months. The pins that hold the slider rods fell out leaving the thing useless. I would recommend spending a bit more on a different design. Many of the other brands sold here appear to have the same flawed knob design.

Terrible design. Did quality control EVER bother to try this out themselves? The pin in the center prevents single loaded citrus from ejecting and the poor quality blade smashes the fruit instead of slicing it. Worst slicer ever.

This is by far the worst fruit slicer we have ever had. The blades are the main issue here for the 8 wedge unit, it smashes the limes instead of cuts them as they pass through the blades completely destroying the fruit. The giant middle pin in the 8 wedge I think is to blame here. Poor design and it results in smashed fruit for a complete waste of money.

blade isn't made very durable and broke after about a week of using it. same result after purchasing a replacement blade

This fruit slicer is a life saver. The sides are ridged so you don’t have to worry about warping. Since it is an 8 section we get more out of our lines as well.

Love this food chopper! Has made my summer canning season easier. Chops onions and peppers perfect for my homemade salsa. Very sturdy product and very sharp blades. Would definitely recommend this!

Works great for various fruits vegetables. We use it for like as well as potatoes. Blades stay sharp. But are a pain to clean. Blades don’t disassemble easily either.

This is an awesome wedger it is great to cut lemons. It is easy to clean and comes apart for easy storage and transportation. Love it

Perfect! This little cutter is great for oranges, one simple push and you have a perfectly cut orange in 8 pieces. We sample a lot of oranges, and this thing is quick and simple to use and seems very well made.
