At first, when this was delivered, we thought it was HUGE and possibly too big. But, it grew on us, and now we love this can. Its made of a heavy plastic material, and sits pretty high. We don't have to change the trash that often through out the day because this is a rather large size. The open top is perfect for easy disposal (especially for people throwing away ice cream cups).

Love this trash can. We have it inside so I don't know how it would hold up outside. It's a little expensive for what it is but we've had no problems with it.
