It comes equipped with a coiled cable that extends to 39" when you need a longer reach, and then it retracts for convenient storage.
Encasing the cable is red PVC for added protection. This complements the durable and convenient design that the stainless steel shaft provides both the instrument itself as well as its operator. The 4" stem is made of stainless steel for durability and long-lasting use. This probe is designed with a 2-pin, sub-miniature connector to connect to thermocouple thermometers (sold separately).
