Customer Q&AAsk a Question

What's the difference between a riveted and a welded handle?
A riveted handle is connected by small metal pieces (called rivets) that are crushed between the handle and the pan body to attach them together. This type of handle is more common on copper and aluminum cookware.

For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. This creates a strong bond that leaves little to no space in between, so bacteria and other food crumbs can’t collect and cause sanitation issues. Both are long lasting solutions for fry and sauce pan handles because they are durable and can withstand heat.
How can I properly care for this aluminum item?
Hand washing is always the best option to ensure that your aluminum stays in best working order. However, if you decide to clean these in a dishwasher, we strongly recommend using metal-safe detergents and sanitizers to eliminate any flaking or tarnishing that could occur from some harsher cleaners.

aluminum pot pots stock heavy big burner clean holds products

Customer Reviews

We have a good handful of the Heavy Weight Aluminum stock pots for our kitchen and they hold up very well compared to other thinner alternatives. We are using this 100 QT size to cook our Pho broth and height is perfect when set on top of a floor burner. With thinner wall aluminum, high temperatures can warp the bottom of the pot and they also dent a lot easier when cleaning them or transporting them. These pots have not had any of those issues. These pots are pretty heavy because of the thickness and need 2 people to carry safely when filled. The one thing that is difficult is keeping the inside surface clean looking. I think inherently aluminum will discolor when used and must be scratched to get fresh clean color back. Be sure to follow the instructions on how to season these before using (included in packaging).

This is one big stock pot. We use it for soups, boiling potatoes, and beans. We had to get a stock pot range to use it on though. It’s very big.

Bought this heavy weight aluminum stock pot for performing boil tests on our glass products. WRS had the best price that i could find on similar products i found on other sites. Pot is made from thick aluminum (1/4" or so) and holds up well when used on our outdoor burner.
