I initially purchased this pot to boil meat, but I found it was better to make our pho broth in. The pot is much thicker than other pots and the handles are sturdy as well. The pot itself is extremely durable and holds well, no dents so far. Because this pot is much taller than others, we use it on a floor burner and it makes it easier accessible to our shorter cooks! This pot is essential for restaurants!

I have made a few purchases from Webstaurant and have found them to have great product, excellent prices and fast shipping. This large stock pot is no exception. It is a well-built sturdy pot and I have absolutely no complaints. I also purchased the matching lid (407APTC120HD). It is also a fine product. I can definitely recommend this product to others.

A good quality pot and value. I use these only on occasion aka about 3 times a year. They serve us well and I definitely recommend for occasional use to possibly every day use
I m make a good choice to get this 80 Qt. Is excellent to cook the birria and more.
Did not buy for cooking - was purchased to make a custom vacuum chamber, and it does a superb job for this usage. The thick walls are completely stable under a 2 hour 27.4inHg vacuum which is the best my setup can do. If I ever get a pump that can do 29inHg or better, I'm confident that this pot will handle it!!! I was worried that the riveted handles could air leak under vacuum, no problems with that either. IMO, a great price for this pot as well, no matter what you're using it for!!!

I bought this pot a few months ago but wanted to wait till I really used it quite a few times. The weight of it negates the food I make from burning as other thinner pots have done. There are zero complaints or concerns about the pot. I've made large pot roasts, soups, stocks, sauces and various other things using it. The only thing I'd recommend is to follow the directions that come with it and season the pot before you use it and when it's needed again. Well worth the money and I wish I'd just bought this year's ago instead of wasting money on inferior products. Going shopping now..?? Thank you webstaurantstore! Large heavy pot great for breaking down beef for tamales. The thickness of the pot holds heat longer than the standard weight pots do. Solid kitchen necessity for anyone that cooks big meals.
We have a good handful of the Heavy Weight Aluminum stock pots for our kitchen and they hold up very well compared to other thinner alternatives. We were going to use this 160 QT size to cook our Pho broth but it was just too big for us. The height was too difficult for our shorter cooks to reach when set on top of a floor burner. With thinner wall aluminum, high temperatures can warp the bottom of the pot and they also dent a lot easier when cleaning them or transporting them. These pots have not had any of those issues. These pots are pretty heavy because of the thickness and need 2 people to carry safely when filled. The one thing that is difficult is keeping the inside surface clean looking. I think inherently aluminum will discolor when used and must be scratched to get fresh clean color back. Be sure to follow the instructions on how to season these before using.

The worst part about this is having to buy real enough spoons. This is great for my operation. I mostly use this for small batches of soup.

These heavy weight aluminum stock pots mean business. When you first get them you have to season them and clean them very thoroughly. If not there's like a coating of dirt or black residue that's inside. Be careful.
High quality stock pot. The aluminum is easy to clean up and strong enough to take some abuse. Even when empty these stock pots are fairly heavy so moving them when full is not too easy.
