These containers are great for various uses. At my former job we originally bought them solely for making iced tea, however we ended up using them to store fresh cut french fries. I would sit this bucket beneath my french fry cutter and cut the potatoes into the bucket, and then cover with salt and water until ready to cook. They are heavy duty and will hold up well to various uses. Definitely recommend
