Do I need to purchase extenders to go with this rack?
To achieve the correct height, these racks may use extenders that attach to the top surface of the rack. All extenders necessary to reach the specified height are included with each rack; however, if you would like to purchase additional extenders, please refer to the Works With section on this page.
Do these extenders easily snap on and off?
While the extenders easily snap on to each other, a tool or machine will be required to detach them.
Should I buy glass racks that match the diameter of my glasses, or should I buy the next size up?
Since glassware can have slight size variances, it is a good idea to buy glass racks with compartments slightly larger than the maximum diameter of the glasses.

i bought it because I have some really nice wine glasses and needed something that would protect them while washing.
Found it hard to dismount the layers, hope it would be easier.

We used this 16 compartment racks for our 1 liter carafes. They fit perfect, snug and tight. We did order the additional RE1614 extender to give some additional protection though ti twas not needed. These racks are very nice, solid racks. Will be buying more.
