Made of durable steel with a gray powder coated finish, this paper cutter has a one-piece, welded frame that's stronger than its standard counterparts. It's designed to hold a roll up to 9" in diameter with a 3" core and is easy to set up. Once a roll is installed, you can pull out the desired amount of product and quickly tear it against the safe, straight-edge, spring-loaded blade, eliminating the need for scissors and a ruler. When you're ready to change the roll, the blade arm can be locked into the open position, allowing you to slide the dowel out of the sockets and replace the roll. How do I mount this unit?
Because this unit can be mounted to so many different surfaces, the method of mounting will vary. This is why mounting hardware is not included with this item, nor are mounting instructions available. For reference, there are two (1/4" diameter) mounting holes in each cross bar (4 total).

This disperser is great for the 18" butcher papers and mandatory for as heavy as the rolls are. The dowel could fit a little more flush as I've had it slip out a couple of times, but only when I'm moving the roll from storage to where I'm going to use it. Also don't overlook the rubber nonslip pieces for the bottom in the package. I missed these initially when I unboxed my first one.

We are a very high volume market and use at least 15 of these per year. As far as cutting goes, they work great, they do tend to get rusty and the cutter falls off after a couple of months. I'm sure the product would last much longer in a less busy market. They are very easy to install and for the price, they are great!

This paper dispenser and cutter has been used daily for about a year now. The only complaint I have is you would definately need to screw it down otherwise it can tip over or fall forward if the paper is pulled too hard. Otherwise, very great value for something that lasts!

I purchased this dispenser for an 18" roll of butcher paper. It\\'s nice and gets the job done, but if I was going to be using it all the time I would probably bolt it to a tabletop to make it more sturdy or purchase a slightly heavier duty model.
