Effectively clean and recycle shortening for your fryer with this Belshaw EZMelt18 20522 shortening melter-filter. This unit inserts directly below your donut fryer and heats shortening to 225 degrees Fahrenheit, melting solid shortening quickly and easily to fill your fryer with shortening when you need it. This filter can pump shortening directly to your fryer with a simple push of the foot pedal thanks to its heavy-duty pump and motor. It includes a long-life synthetic filter screen, which should be replaced yearly to ensure optimal operation. This filter can be used with all standard shortening products, including zero trans fat shortening.

For easy cleaning, the entire control panel and element tilt up, and it's constructed of heavy-duty stainless steel to resist corrosion. Plus, heavy-duty casters allow for easy mobility. It comes with 2 heat-resistant hoses, including a refill hose, which has a plated steel nozzle design to attach to compatible fryers, and a rinse hose, which has a hook end and is designed for flushing debris while draining and filtering. The integrated cube cutter ensures fast melting of solid shortening blocks up to 50 lb. This unit is compatible with Belshaw 618, 718, Mark II, and Mark V series donut fryers, and it requires a 110-120V, 1 phase electrical connection for operation.
