Customer questions about this product
- What does it mean if an item or voltage is labeled "for international use" or "for Canadian use"?
- An item that has been labeled for international use has been designed to accommodate a foreign electrical standard that differs from electrical standards in the United States. These differences make International Use items incompatible with US electrical standards.
An item labeled "for Canadian use" might have a different cord and plug, amperage requirement, or agency certifications than its comparable US-spec model.
Contact Customer Solutions prior to placing your order if you have questions about the suitability of this piece of equipment for your application.
- Can I plug in this unit for use right away after receiving it?
- No. It is strongly recommended to allow this unit to sit in its normal operating position for at least 24 hours before plugging it in for use. This allows the compressor oil and refrigerant time to settle from being displaced during transport, preventing damage to the unit that may void its warranty.

People Talk About:inside temperature call cold fridge heat sides transfer definition deceptive
To call this a 'refrigerated' topping rail is deceptive. It is not refrigerated, which would by definition "transfer heat from the inside of the fridge to its external environment so that the inside of the fridge is cooled to a temperature below the ambient temperature of the room." There is no heat transfer. Instead, this item just makes the interior sides (not the items placed inside) cold. Anything that does not touch the cold sides directly will increase in temperature, which then renders this item useless. (Note: This is the case even for pre-chilled items that we brought from the walk-in cooler.) A better description would be to call it an 'icebox' which was common in the early 20th century. But an ineffective one, since this item has no insulation. I really hope this review is helpful in preventing another hapless soul from purchasing this item.
