Excellent for any small beverage on the rocks. These have a wide opening, which adds to the aesthetics of a drink. Further, a larger opening allows for proper sized ice cubes / rocks. Real drinkers do not want their drink watered down by small ice cubes, so a proper glass is a necessity. This is that glass!

These glasses are great glasses, durable and appealing to the eye. We use these glasses as shot glasses and even through all of the slamming on the bar counter and high usage, they rarely break. While these glasses are great, I think I prefer the glasses with the super-thick bottoms because they make the glass look fuller. We pour a shot that is 50%+ larger than the standard 1.25oz shot, and the glass looks less than half-full. While we prefer to use larger buckets for shots on the rocks, this glass definitely works well for single-shots on the rocks.

These rock glasses hold up well under tough conditions. My husband and I have owned a bar for 14 years It took some time to figure out which glasses to use to get the bet value not only as to how long they would last, but also the size that would be best for a mixed drink. This glass gets an A on both counts. It is very heavy. So it wont tip over easy and doesnt chip like thinner glasses. 12 ounces seems to fit most drink recipes well. And the price is right!
