Customer questions about this product
- What is the difference between a disher and an ice cream scoop?
- Dishers are designed to control servings of soft foods, such as mashed potatoes, applesauce, or steamed vegetables. Although these are not meant for harder foods, such as ice cream, they are versatile tools that can be used for portion control in both prep and service applications. Ice cream scoops offer the durability necessary to scoop hard, frozen foods, such as ice cream. Both are traditionally sized by the number of scoops per quart that they can produce; however, they may also be sized by the number of ounces they hold. Dishers feature an easy-to-operate thumb press or squeeze-handle design, complete with a quick-release component that ensures no food is unintentionally left behind in the scoop. Ice cream scoops on the other hand, do not feature any movable components.
This #24 ice cream scoop / dipper comes with a specially-designed, non-stick coating and is filled with a defrost fluid that prevents the dipper from getting too cold and sticking to the ice cream. Holds 1.5 oz.
Hand Wash Only

The #24 Ice Cream Scoop is a great value, the non-stick coating holds up great to daily abuse and delivers the ice cream in a perfect scoop, helping to put out a more presentable product while minimizing waste and increasing profit.
The #24 Non-Stick Ice Cream Scoop/ Dipper makes the perfect sized balls of cookie dough. It is durable and easy to clean. It is not recommended to be placed in the dishwasher.
This number 24 non-stick ice cream Baller or scooper is fantastic it works great for making perfect size ice cream cones perfect for scooping it for the kids or for the adults
This little scooper is a good budget option. I do notice (after having it for several months) after leaving it in the dipping well day after day, it seems to be corroding much faster than the Zeroll scoopers. Depending on your usage, may want to factor this into your buying decision.
This is a really nice working non-stick ice cream scooper/dipper I like the little plastic bottom on it so when my boys drop it in the plastic doesn't break because it's a little softer like rubber this works really good for scooping gelato I like had ice cream or gelato rolled right out of it that's fantastic
I purchased the #24 non-stick ice cream scoop dipper. This non-stick ice cream scoop is a very useful tool when you have a particularly sticky substance.
Excellent ice cream scoop. The non stick finish glides through ice creams and sorbet. The handle is a good size, and is easy to hold.
This ice cream scooper is a great buy!! Works really good with really frozen ice cream!! Handle is long enough and strong enough to scoop out ice cream without getting your hands all sticky. Perfect little scooper for the price! Giving it 5 stars for sure!!
This ice cream scooper is very easy to clean. It cuts right through hard ice cream for good scoops and the ice cream slides right out.
I love this ice cream scoop. We found out quickly though that if you "hand wash" as directed, but use steel wool, it's not going to be pretty! So don't do what we did! It took off the coating and looks unsightly now. I will buy these again though, because now we know better and they work great! Helps me maintain correct portions.
Great scoops! But the non-stick coating begins to flake off into the ice cream after so long. They can only be hand washed, and placing them in the dishwasher only aggravates the flaking problem.Thank you for your review! You are correct that non-stick items should be hand washed only. If you are looking for another ice cream scoop, try the Zeroll 1024-ZT Zerolon #24 ice cream scoop as a more durable alternative.
like this ice cream scoop. it uses the heat of your hand so it is easier to get the ice cream out. easy to clean.
