The quality great, the price is amazing as well. The clear lids will be great for seeing what is inside. I love these canisters so much! I use them for sugar, coffee and more
These are very well made and I don't just use them in the kitchen which their great for any dried goods including nuts , powders candy and more. They also make good storage for other areas of the house including the garage. These containers are very classy looking and at this price I would not consider another type of container.
Perfect for our frappe mixes, sits nicely on the counter and doesn't show fingerprints. Love the clear lid so I can see contents but it isn't obvious on sales counter.
Nice looking canisters that hold more than I thought they would. For whole bean coffee I can fit two 12 oz. bags with room for more. Might not be 100% sealed but it serves the purpose as the coffee has remained fresh.
This canister is perfect for coffee and spices because of the locking lid. Because it's air-tight, and opaque, it prevents coffee from oxidizing and spices from losing their flavor as quickly. Plus, the stainless steel is a neat, uniform look for any kitchen.
This is a nice storage container. I use it (and other similar containers) to store loose leaf tea, and they do a good job. This one is very reasonably priced and has a good seal that isn't fiddly like the seals on some lesser products.
Love it. I use mine for storing rice. It seals completely, and both the canister and the lid are heavy and well-made. Given the price, I had expected something a bit flimsy, but was pleasantly surprised when I took this one out of the box.
Great container! It is very airtight and latches tightly. I'm probably going to use it for brown sugar to keep it soft but still easily accessible.
Perfect for storing our spices and sugars and flours. We could not be happier with these. They are easy to clean, easy to stack on our shelves and the pantry always looks neat & clean. Stainless steel allows me to not worry.
I quite like this canister for home use. This size perfectly fits my 1lb bag of dried hibiscus petals, so I would expect it to be perfect for bulk orders of loose leaf tea. The lid is clear which is nice to see through, although if you're worried about light oxidizing whatever you store in here you might want to cover it with a label. The hinge is easy to open, although the metal handle feels a bit cheap because it's so thin. I don't know if it would hold up to restaurant use (if you put something fragrant in here you'll be able to tell it's not an airtight seal), but it works well enough in my home kitchen.
This is really nice larges option of these containers! 2 qt can hold a lot. Perfect stile and great quality! Price is great too! I would recommend this product to anyone!
We have several sizes of these. They are all good quality and keep pantry moths out and the items fresher. I did find the 2 quart to be a bit more awkward to use since I ordered it for storing sugar, and it's a little narrow for scooping -- particularly as it gets lower in the container -- but the quality is the same as the other canisters in the line.
The 2 Qt. Stainless Steel Ingredient Storage Canister with Clear Plastic Lid is a great buy. The inside rubber gasket helps to keep ingredients fresh and it's easy to clean.
These might have been my very first WebstaurantStore purchase. I was reading a lot of hippie blogs and trying to reduce plastic use around the house. With glass jars being freakin heavy and not great for stacking, I purchased (MANY) of these canisters in the 26oz and 2qt sizes to use for pantry staples. Beans, baking powder, salt, pasta, you name it. Everything but flour, sugar, and baking soda, which I kept in matching larger containers (not available on WebstaurantStore). My rating: 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3. Likes: I am REALLY into uniformity for organization and appearances. I created labels for the top and side of each canister. They stacked neatly in my kitchen pantry. They are just about as featherweight as a container can be. They are reasonably priced compared to the other brand. The cafeteria at my work used very similar containers for oatmeal (brown sugar, cranberries, raisins, granola) and salad bar (seeds, croutons, etc) toppings. Although I wasn’t ever in love with these, I didn’t see a better option at the time. Dislikes: There are definite imperfections. These aren’t as easy to get clean as glass/plastic and they don’t seem to come perfectly clean depending upon what has been stored inside. Removing the labels leaves marks that will be difficult to get out. One of the items I stored in these was [colored] sports drink powder. I didn’t make a huge effort to scrub the containers out, but I am pretty sure they are permanently stained. Several of the gaskets would consistently detach from the lids when opened, frustrating me to no end. Why are so many storage containers round? They waste space in the corners, as opposed to square/rectangular ones that maximize it. They do dent, although that wasn’t a huge issue. Overall, unless you really like the looks of these, I’d steer you towards something else (see bottom for my perfect match). The One: I haven’t been as much into flower power lately (even trading in my baking soda/vinegar hair cleansing routine for gasp store bought shampoo & conditioner). I recently saw a photo of a home pantry using the other brand pop top square bottom containers. The pop top didn’t appeal to me that much, but I LOVE square containers and it was nice to be able to see inside with the clear sides. The prices are astronomical though and it’s difficult/not possible/ridiculously expensive to buy individually creating your own set. I came across the Cambro Polycarbonate Food Storage Containers on WebstaurantStore and knew they were meant for me. I stopped eating grains and sweets about six months ago, so significantly fewer containers were needed. They are more expensive than these canisters but worth the extra price. I chose the translucent covers and they snap nice and tight on the containers. The containers could definitely be dropped without breaking or lids coming off. Thus far, I’ve purchased the 2qt, 4qt, and 8qt sizes. For the kitchen, I use mostly 2qt with some 4qts. I use them for items as varied as homemade laundry detergent, Wrigley the Maltese’s kibble, Epsom salt, and ground eggshells for my chickies. I do wish they came in square 1qt sizes. As much as I didn’t want to, I purchased some round 1qts. Although they are not square, I’m ok with them. I use them for things I don’t want to have to store the refrigerator, but do anyways to preserve shelf life (e.g. nuts). I use them in the freezer too, to store tablespoons of tomato paste, bacon grease, and lime/lemon juice, frozen fruit, yogurt, and more. I’m sure they could be used in the refrigerator to store prepared foods, but for now, I’m happy with my other branded jars and mason jars. Read Less Read More
While I do love the look and price of them, I wish they had a better seal. I wouldn't say they are airtight, but I suppose they will do the job.
this stainless steel storage canister is amazing clean and nice design keep dry products stay clean and dry. work great with dry noodles and powders
These are great storage containers, we use them to store flours and sugars in the kitchen. They look nice with brushed stainless on the outside and they seal up great with a big silicone gasket.
you can actually do any thing with this , any left over , soup, vegie, pasta, food , salad , keep it, well build and very good price
These are perfect for storing our dry loose leaf tea and coffee. They keep out any moisture from running the product. Would definitely recommend them!

Love these canisters . You can store anything in them, and they are tightly sealed. We ordered quite a few of these, and will be ordering more.
