My business is at a high elevation; does this change anything when I order gas cooking equipment?
Many gas equipment manufacturers need to make adjustments to the equipment so it operates correctly at elevations over 2,000 feet. Sometimes we can special order from the manufacturer and have your cooking equipment delivered ready-to-go, but in cases where your unit is in stock and waiting to ship, you’ll need to have a qualified service technician come to your location and alter your unit at the time of installation so that it is compatible with a higher elevation. Contact our Special Orders team prior to placing your order, and we will let you know what will work best for the equipment you are planning to purchase.

Build the kitchen best suited for your needs with this Wolf C36R-6BN Challenger XL series 6 burner natural gas range with a 2 drawer Traulsen refrigerated base! This heavy-duty, versatile piece of cooking equipment is perfect for when you need one item in your kitchen to do multiple tasks. Since this unit features 6 open top burners with a refrigerator base, you can fry and simmer on top while eliminating wasted space by using the cabinet below for easy-to-access cold storage.
Each of the 6 burners deliver 30,000 BTU of heating power, and thanks to the lift-off heads, cleaning and maintenance are simple. Plus, the 12" x 14 1/2" rear and 12" x 12 1/2" front lift-off cast iron grates allow easy access to the burners while supporting your largest stock pots and frying pans. For quick ignition, a shrouded flash tube pilot system for every two burners is standard.
For an additional charge, this item features a flame safety upgrade that protects against unexpected outages by monitoring each standing pilot. If one is extinguished, the gas flow halts to that independent burner section while unaffected burners remain lit. Easily restart the burner using a manual ignition process when the burner is secure.
The integrated Traulsen twin drawer refrigerated base offers convenient cold storage. If you need to keep ingredients close by but at safe cold holding temperatures this base style is a great choice! The two drawers also let you organize your storage to best suit your needs.
A fully welded frame combines with stainless steel front, sides, backriser, and lift-off high shelf to ensure long-lasting use in your commercial kitchen. A natural gas connection is required for operation.
