Customer questions about this product
- How can I best maintain the non-stick qualities of this item?
- To prevent food from sticking to your non-stick surface, we recommend lightly coating it with oil, wiping off any excess with a soft cloth or napkin. Using sprays on non-stick coatings can actually cause food to stick more readily than using a fat or oil. Sprays can leave a glue-like coating, often missed during the cleaning process, which will begin to build up and cause foods to stick. Additionally, metal utensils should not be used with non-stick surfaces to prevent scratching and damaging the coated surface.

People Talk About:cones waffle Cone maker unit Waring working works batter great
2 out of 2 found this review helpfulI was extremely excited to get this because it cooks on both sides. The concept is great, but when you pour your waffle cone batter on the cooking surface and close it up, it clicks into place, but just clicks back out of place as the batter expands. This causes the waffle cone to cook like pita bread and when it's done, you have a waffle cone that wants to break apart into two pieces. Sure, you can sit there and hold the top down while it's cooking, but you need to rotate it to get the next cone started. Also, there's no way this thing cooks 120 cones per hour because the only way they're actually cooked properly is when it's cranked up to the highest heat setting. 120/hour would mean they'd be raw. Please beware that you cannot return this product once you've discovered the inadequacies of the product like I just did. Now I'll have to dump this thing on eBay.Thank you for the review, Blair. We're sorry you've been having trouble with this unit. We suggest putting less batter in the waffle cone maker to see if this makes a difference. 1 out of 1 found this review helpfulHorrible. We run our waffle cone maker all day and make made to order cones. This is my second Waring double cone maker and I can no longer use it. It works like a charm for the first few months but even when being maintained and cleaned the batter cooks onto the iron and becomes unusable. They don't offer replacement griddles so it's useless. Waring refunded me for the last one that this happened to hence the extra star, but not reliable. Going to try Carnival for my next one.Thank you for your review, Mike! We are sorry this Waring WWCM200 Double Waffle Cone Maker - 120V has not worked well for you. A Customer Solutions Representative will contact you soon!
1 out of 1 found this review helpfulIt works, kind of. Cones come out cooked unevenly. End up throwing quite a few out. Not recommended, especially for the price.. Looking for a better cone maker now, can't use this any longer. We appreciate your review! If you have any concerns about the product you purchased please contact our Customer Solutions team.
1 out of 1 found this review helpfulThis thing is awesome. After messing around with the cheaper Chef's Mate maker, we took the plunge for this guy. He works like a champ and cranks out the cones all day long.
1 out of 1 found this review helpfulA great cone maker for a medium size shop. It does everything that we need it to do and cones come out aesthetically pleasing a fresh tasting. Great purchase!
We use this unit daily. Our first iron lasted maybe half a year before it stopped working. WebstaurantStore was very prompt and sent us a new unit within a week or so. It produces consistent waffle cones (we've used the Carnival King batter) for the most part, but sometimes doesn't heat all the way. Overall, it's a decent iron since it's the only one we've tried... it works well enough.Thank you for your feedback! I was little hesitant to buy this machine with all the bad reviews it was given but, I guess maybe I just got a good one. The waffle machine maker seems to be working just fine and is easy to use and clean.
Pretty pricey piece of equipment. Works great but I’ve had this for a while now it it definitely has had some Ware and tear to it.
I have two of these and I love them. Having two sides is a time saver, space saver and money saver! The first one I bought is two years old and works as well as the brand new one I just got.
Such an incredible waste of time and energy. We bought this equipment a little over a year ago, it does present a few hiccups in terms of cooking the batter evenly, but the real problem is the actual performance of the equipment. It broke and stopped heating after four months, Waring replaced it, then after four more months we had the same problem, once more it was replaced. Finally 10 days ago it failed for the third time, same problem: a beeping alarm sets up and it does not heat anymore. Ahhh! this time Web Restaurant Store says the warranty is expired - by a few weeks but it is true. I don't discuss the fact, the Warranty is clearly stated, but I believe than when a commercial piece of equipment fails after four months of light use ( 60 to a 100 cones a day) it's bad, however if it is replaced three times and then fails three times for the same reason and in the same time frame, there is an engineering problem. I believe that Waring should come up to bat on this one, apologize, replace the unit again and change something that is obviously prone to breakage. Not recommended at all for a gelato or ice-cream store. Read Less Read MoreThank you for your feedback! We are sorry your Waring WWCM200 Double Waffle Cone Maker - 120V was defective. I was really amazed the the development of such a product and of course in the Ice Cream Business am always looking for a faster way to make waffle cones faster! So when I saw Waring's Double Waffle Cone Maker I just had to get it. Once I recived it I was blown away at how fast I could make waffle cones and enojyied all the free time I now had to work on other prep for the day. After about 3 months thought it started showing issues. The unit would not get hot and would beep over and over again which was an issue. So using Webstaurant's amazing customer serivce we communicated our issues and in less then 3 days we had a replacement. Sadly this replacement also stopped working as well due to the same conditions. We are on our 3rd trial of this unit and the New,New,New one is working great. Just know when buying that this unit has issues that Waring is working on fixing. Overall when the unit is working its amazing!
Unit is good for small (slow) operation. We have been running the unit about 40+ hours a week - cranking out lots of cones. first the one side has gone out, and now the entire unit is showing signs of a slow dealth. If you are planning to do volume, you might considering spending the extra $$Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry you did not prefer this product. Were were using the Waring single waffle cones maker and upgrades to the double cone maker. It makes the process go faster after you get used to it.
This is a pretty good waffle cone maker. I wish the diameter were a bit bigger. The waffle patter is small. I would have preferred a larger pattern.
