Vollrath CF-1800 10 lb. Commercial Countertop Deep Fryer - 120V

This is a great fryer. the size is perfect. heats up fast and recovery time is minimal. highly recommended. will definitely purchase a second one.

My business has been open for 3 weeks. I’ve used the deep fryer 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, and it already quit working. After just 15 days. Would not recommend this one!

This was a poor experience and purchase. We have a dedicated 120v/20amp service as required. Unit could not achieve more than 345 F and thermostat was not accurate (lagged 20-40 degrees) so needed an instant digital temp gauge to monitor. Biggest problem was after using it only a dozen one hour sessions the thermostat failed. After checking on price of replacement thermostat and cost of service it did not make sense to fix. I would not recommend this unit and to be fair any 120v deep fat fryer. Slow to heat, not accurate, and not reliable. My biggest issue was reliability.

The unit is fine except it is clearly used. Scratches on the steel, smudges, residue on what should be a new unit. We are not happy.

Decent fryer for maybe home use or really small event. Used for my Soft Grand Opening on my Food Trailer and it didn't do the job for me.

We are very pleased with this little fryer! It is very sturdy! It makes wonderful french fries! The recovery time is also very quick! Thumbs up!

This countertop fryer works like a charm. Heats up quickly and the food fries fast. I use it a weekly auto auction for 300+ people to cook chicken nuggets and French fries and it keeps up. I will be ordering a second to serve a larger variety of food.

Very good product! They started coming apart at the hang hooks and Vollrath replaced them with no questions asked. Recently the safety switch was popping 3-4 times a day but again Vollrath stood behind their product and replaced the element box. We also own the Vollrath 40708 220V version of this fryer- we are very happy with webstaurant and Vollrath!

These fryers are great if you have a small seafood joint and only have a few orders! definitely worth it but if youre playing with the big boys and have a lot of covers you might want to step up your game!

Very good fryer. We use it in our restaurant mainly for cooking cheese balls and mushrooms. It heats up quickly and maintains its heat well throughout the day. Would buy another.

excellent countertop fryer, fast recovery time, easy to clean, I use it with my concession business for fries and other fried items like fried Twinkies and fried ice cream.

We ordered this for a small concession stand for our football league and it works great. We bascially use it for french fries and I am very happy with the capacity and the recovery period. Its very easy to clean and use.

Heats quickly! Baskets are not so friendly as they are difficult to latch on rack out of oil! But overall the product is what we needed! Would buy again!

Vollrath provides excellent customer service! I had a minor defect on this unit and called Vollrath. It was corrected within 2 days. I love the fryer (this is my second one) and Vollrath stands behind their products 100%

I've been using this fryer for 2 years and love it! I operate out of a small building and this is perfect for my countertop needs and cooks things well. I have cooked hand cut fries, onion rings, mozzarella stick, fried pickles and more and it does a good job !

What can I say about this fryer. I used it for a wedding that was at a location without a full kitchen, and they wanted fried fish. So purchasing this product was right on time..

We loved this fryer when we first bought it then it started having some problems. The "heat" light burned out after a couple weeks, which isn't a big deal just an annoyance at this point. These are also very difficult to keep clean, as it has many nooks and crannies. All in all we are happy with the fryer for what it cost. We knew what we were paying for.
