This fit perfectly in our kitchen. Its small enough to fit in a small area, yet its big enough inside to fit a lot of items. Its very durable and does the job well. The gaskets do need to be replace over time as they do wear down. The space on top of it is pretty big too, we use it for our press machine. This is a very durable freezer and it will last for a long time and can withstand a hot kitchen.
Had this freezer for about 5 years, bought it's twin refrigerator at the same time. On the refrigerator, five years and two weeks later (five year warranty on compressor) the compressor blew. Turns out the desiccant in the bullet dryer turned into powder and clogged the screen on the capillary end. As soon as I noticed the freezer not staying as cold, I evacuated the system and cut the dryer out. Same problem. The desiccant had broken down and the screen was almost completely clogged. It's about a small price for a decent (non-bullet type dryer). But if you end up paying someone to do everything. Cut into the system, drain the refrigerant, blow it out, solder in a new dryer, and refill with refrigerant, you're talking ABOUT a couple hundred. Beats a new compressor by itself. But having a whole system fail because your company cheaped out on a dryer is pretty bad. So if you're having cooling problems, this may be it. Both units were bought in 2007.
A very efficient unit, pulls down to temp quickly after door has been opened. I use it in a juice bar & it's perfect! Very mobile as well, easy to clean in & around.
