Customer questions about this product

Why do the fruit syrups cause milk to curdle in beverages?
Torani's fruit-flavored syrups contain similar acids to those found in real fruit, which causes milk and dairy alternative beverages to curdle. Though it may not look great, its natural occurrence does not affect the flavor. It simply breaks the structure of proteins in the milk, causing them to clump.

Bring all new flavors to your specialty drink menu with this Torani lemon flavoring syrup! This tempting flavor will complement your beverages without overpowering them or being too sweet, while the user-friendly bottle will be convenient for your busy baristas to use. Use this flavor for frappes, iced coffees, smoothies, and even baking!

Part sweet and part sour, this lemon mixed drink flavoring syrup makes an amazing addition to any sour cocktail, Italian soda, lemonade, or iced tea. Featuring a lively, sunny yellow color, this tremendously tart syrup can even be drizzled over lemon bars for enhanced flavor. Discover new Torani recipes for this flavoring syrup, including a blueberry pucker iced tea, king of blues iced tea, and lemon meringue pie frappe.

This fruit syrup may cause dairy products to curdle. To avoid curdling in coffee-based beverages, try mixing the coffee and Torani syrup together first before adding the milk. The coffee helps to dilute the acidity of the syrup so that the dairy products will remain creamy. To avoid curdling in crafted sodas, begin by mixing water and syrup together first, then topping with your dairy products.

Founded in 1925, Torani started as a family company in southern San Francisco and has since grown to an international brand of quality syrups exporting to 40 countries around the world. Their sense of tradition and experimental ambition has expanded their product line to dozens of varied flavors that can be tailored to almost every palate and recipe.

Customer Reviews

We got this to add to our basic green and black teas because we didn't have any lemon type of flavoring and customers seem to be happy that we added this flavor.

Shawna C. from Toppings LLC on 06/09/2021

We love the lemon flavoring by Torriani it goes great with strawberry and some water and a Red Bull and it taste just like a strawberry lemonade Red Bull Italian soda.

Jennifer B. from The Southern Cup on 01/11/2020

I like using Lemon flavoring in more of our iced drinks. It has a natural taste to it and adds that extra kick to boost the flavor of some of our other drinks.

Tiffany R. from Coffee Addiction on 05/30/2019

This stuff is definitely a top notch syrup. We use it for iced tea but there tons of other uses. Just use your imagination and experiment.

Andrew B. on 05/22/2019

I used pretty much all my lemon for my cakes and it makes a good lemon glaze, I also used it in hot tea when I was sick very lemony flavor and not as strong as lemon extract the lemon taste is there more especially when you use it in desserts

Alvina H. on 02/25/2019

This is my preferred lemon flavoring syrup. This is syrup has the tartness and the sour that you get from real lemons. Great taste and a great find.

Josh L. on 02/20/2019

Very tart! Makes your mouth pucker and get that twinge in the back of your jaw. Tastes like freshly squeezed lemon in water or juice.

Leronce S. from Chicken Feed LLC on 11/24/2018

My cocktails are so much brighter and have more of the flavor I was trying for with real lemon. It's like this syrup is just more concentrated to do the job. This should be a bar staple for everyone.

Elizabeth G. on 04/17/2018

Torani lemon syrup is tart but smooth. Great on it's own and mixes well with other citrus and berry flavors. it's very strong but not so overpowering that it's hard to work with.

Kelsey M. from Turntable Cafe on 03/02/2018

The bright flavor of lemon syrup is perfect to make a Lemon Drop Italian Soda. The finish is zest and salt. The perfect drink for monsoon.

Edgar E. from Last Chance Food Shack on 02/06/2018

I love Torani flavoring syrups. The Lemon flavor is delicious and blends well into creamy thick milkshakes and pairs nicely with vanilla for a lemon shortbread flavor!

Dwight H. on 01/26/2018

The kids love mixing this with the lime to create their own "Lemon/Lime" sodas. Webstaurant has the best price and selection around. They arrived well-packaged and securely wrapped in individual plastic bags to contain any spills (there were no spills).

Rachel Q. on 12/12/2017

This is one of those syrups that doesn't get used often, but when it does it is the perfect fit! We use it for a strawberry-lemon Italian Soda that is delicious!

Corey C. from The French Press Coffee Co. on 11/27/2017

Fresh lemon flavor is what you will get with this wonder fruit syrup. Add a splash to your ice teas or make tart lemon martini or lemon drop shooters. Your patrons will thank you for using this top notch syrup.

Jonathan P. on 08/16/2017

At first, I didn't know what to use this with when I got it, but then I paired it with some fresh strawberry and it give me a strawberry lemonade kind of flavoring. VERY GOOD

Kady C. from N/A on 07/23/2017

Our customers love this syrup in our iced teas. Not too sweet and has a distinct lemon flavor. It's very versatile and we are experimenting making different drinks with it.

Deborah P. on 02/07/2017

Best flavor we bought. Strong lemon flavor with a small amount of product. A couple ounces of this syrup, ice, and top with club soda and bam!, lemon soda. Add some limoncello and have an adult lemonaid.

John M. from Mangia Qui Italian Bistro on 04/28/2016

A very reasonable product to use as lemon flavoring. Does not overpower with flavor. Gives a nice subtle lemon taste in baked goods. I love all these flavorings.

Robin H. from Robin Huston on 12/22/2015

I love all Torani syrups, but lemon is a favorite because it is so versatile. I've added it to homemade seltzer for artisan sodas, to iced teas to give them a lemony sweetness, to salad dressings for a bright note, mixed it into avocado, onion, & tomato for a refreshingly tart/sweet guacamole... the uses are endless!

Rhonda P. on 09/02/2015

A pleasant, sweet lemon flavor. Like a lemon drop candy in liquid form. It made a lovely soda and I cannot wait to try it in tea. It could be dangerous, in a good way, in cocktails!

Jessica W. on 08/13/2015

the lemon flavoring is one of my favorites. the flavor is spot on and i like the added color hue it gives to my products!

Jennifer G. from Sugar Coated Bakery on 08/04/2015

Great lemon flavor! We used this mostly on icee during summer. We also use this on iced green tea with peach syrup to make the "Peach green tea lemonade". It typically can add to any drink for a lemony flavor. We are confident on Torani flavor syrup because other flavors are as great!

Kay T. from S&H Inc on 07/27/2015

I was pleasantly surprised by this product and the lemon flavor was better than expected! Adding this syrup to my frosting and cake batter gave it a zingy lemon flavor....not taste artificial like the oils which I will no longer use. Torani is a quality product and a very good value so I am a happy camper!

Linda S. on 07/19/2015

A MUST IN MY KITCHEN. LEMON CAKES ARE VERY POPULAR AND I ATTRIBUTE PART OF THAT TO THE FACT WE USE THIS TO KEEP OUR CAKE LAYERS MOIST. WE JUST DRIP OR SPRAY ON THE LAYERS BEFORE FROSTING THEM. THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN PLAIN SUGAR SYRUP BECAUSE IT ADDS A VERY NICE LEMON FLAVOR, GIVING OUR CAKES A MULTI LAYER OF LEMON MOISTNESS

Jacqueline C. from WINDY CORNER on 02/22/2015

These Torani syrups are perfect for Italian Sodas. We mix the lemon with Lime or strawberry to make delicious flavors for our sodas. Customers love them.

Diann M. from Karma Boutique & Coffee Bar on 02/01/2015

The lemon flavor is quite similar to the lime, it has somewhat of the right flavor but has similarities to something else I've tried in my lifetime. Still makes a good cup of pop depending on how much you add of course. You need a little bit more to get the same flavor and a consistent one at that. I very much enjoyed it though.

Jaime P. on 10/09/2014

So far our customers have really liked this flavor in Italian sodas mixed with strawberry and also with green tea, adding a lemonade effect. It is refreshingly sweet.
