The coffee bar and shop that I work at uses the Root Beer flavoring for Italian Sodas. This flavor is AMAZING! We do have to use an additional pump or two to get the sweetness and flavoring that I prefer. However, you like lightly flavored Italian Sodas, this would do just fine with a pump or two of flavoring. A lot of my regulars prefer this over the bottled or fountain root beer. When you add just a little bit of cream it is heaven! I strongly recommend this flavor! Torani is my favorite brand by far!

This is soooo good for doing shaved ice or even ice pops. I tried to flavor shaved ice with really root beer but you don't get the same flavor as you do with the syrup. Go with the syrup for sure.

This is great as a *flavoring*, but when I attempted to make actual root beer with it, it didn't taste right. I bought this syrup to use with my soda stream machine, as their proprietary syrup is dreadful. Torani's root beer syrup is pretty good. It lacks a little of the depth I prefer in root beer, but I found adding a little ginger syrup did the trick. I give it 4 stars because of the depth, and because the syrup is quite thin, so I end up using more of it.

I bought an old-fashioned steel seltzer bottle that uses charger cartridges to make homemade bubbly water (or any other liquid). Since the sparkling water is plain and the steel bottle soaks up coldness, it's a perfect icy base for Torani syrups. I am absolutely mad for the Torani Root Bear Syrup. When mixed with the fresh bubbly water, it tastes so much like the soda fountain root beers I remember from my childhood. It's better than any commercially available root beer I've found, and with it's simple ingredients and pure cane sugar sweetner, I love to share it with my own kids!

I bought this root beer syrup on a whim since I gave up bottled soda a few years ago, and have been looking for a root beer mix (I usually get fruit flavors). As soon as it arrived, I gave it a try. It's absolutely FANTASTIC! 8 pumps (or 4Tbsp) for an 18 oz glass, topped with soda water from my Sodastream makes a perfect glass of root beer (quite often, my family steals gulps when I turn my back!). Most of the Torani syrups I've tried are great, but this root beer is a stand-out for sure! REAL cane sugar (half the sugars of store-bought root beer, btw), and an excellent taste. I'll DEFINITELY be ordering a lot more of this in the future!

I like this syrup just as much as I like Grape because they come the closest to their advertised flavor. I was surprised that it had a very good root beer taste and didn't taste artificial at all. Definitely going to re-buy.
