In general, melamine is not microwave or oven safe. You can use a commercial dishwasher to clean your melamine items; however, top-rack only is recommended for residential dishwashing units. We use these plates for special items on the menu. The plate looks amazing and is very durable and easy to clean and keep stored as well.

Horrible quality. Visible scratches after first use and several cracked upon arrival. Would not reccomend. Also purchased smaller plates by same manufacturer and they too are chipped/scratched.

Sturdy and great looking plates. After two plus years they have held their own pretty good. Out of the 12 pack, only 2 have broken in the two plus years, and when I say broken it is really just chipped on the corners.

We are going to use the plate to serve medium to big appetizers and also samples. The wave design looks very nice. The plate also is very strong so it looks very similar to porcelain. 100% Recommendable.

Love the wavy look on these plates. They are the perfect size for serving sandwiches with a side of fresh fruit. I only wish they were commercial dishwasher safe but given the stunning looks, I wont mind hand washing these. Hard to tell they are melamine....
