All the other reviews about these shakers say it all. The pressed-glass effect is a great rustic/vintage touch. We have repurposed them, however! We put out 100% New England maple syrup at every breakfast table, but waste can be costly when it come to real maple syrup. The mini pitchers we had been didn't showcase the syrup, and people were overpouring. This is the perfect size (when filled halfway) to offer just the right amount of syrup in a very attractive presentation. Our guests love it!

In our Cafe, we try and be as green as possible with every item that we can have being either recycled already, able to be recycled, or biodegradable/compostable. These are the only products of their kind that I could find, and I LOVE the fact that it states right on the glass that they are 100% recycled glass. Worth every penny to conserve when you can.
