I wasn't too impressed with these baking cups. I guess I'm a little spoiled using the cups with the PET coating. These are quick release however they seem to be a little flimsier than the other ones. I actually had to bake my pies in 2 liners so they would remain circles after pressing dough into them. Also, without the PET coating, my crust comes out a lighter color in these cups. I don't think the other cups were much more expensive, so I would recommend using the PET coated baking cups instead of these.

Quick release is right!! These are perfect for oversized muffin tops! I also use these to serve individual portions of dessert to my guests. Really nice presentation!

I would not recommend this baking cup for tarts, pies, or cakes — we also had trouble with the flimsy sides and the cups not holding their shape after baking. We didn't have this issue with the baking cups with the PET lining.

Excellent baking cup! We make Gluten Free Pies all the time and these are perfect, the crust never sticks, they bake evenly, hold just the right amount. We also bake muffin tops, cookies, and cobblers and they never get soggy or leak.

It is ok, it does leave a funny taste when you cook it in the oven. I decided to used it as a cup to hold all the cake clusters (left over cake scraps) and then drizzle with any chocolate flavors. That works!

We use these to bake an egg/croissant breakfast dish and have been very pleased. We bake with them, freeze them, refrigerate them, and reheat them in the microwave and over and they hold up extremely well. Sometimes it seems like they leave a bitter taste on the dish if they are microwaved, however, but we have never gotten any complaints.

I have looked for these compostable baking cups EVERYWHERE! They really are unique, and I will be ordering a lot of them. NOTE: they're quite big!
