These packs do work well and offer a great clean to our dishes. We tried without a pre-rinse and still found that it cleaned satisfactory. There were although a few spots left on some glasses, but I would still recommend this product.
I am really happy to recommend these plant-based Free & Clear unscented dishwasher detergent packs from Seventh Generation that are a really great eco friendly alternative, just pop a tablet in and turn on the dishwasher, for great results.
