How can I ensure clean, even cuts from my tomato slicer?
Use a socket wrench to make sure the hex screws on your unit are properly tightened to adjust the blade tension and produce consistent slices. Also make sure your blades are properly positioned with the sharp sides of the blades facing the pusher assembly.

This item came with a broken blade. The replacement only lasted 2.4 months. Cannot order a replacement due to it being out of stock. Now I have a useless piece of equipment and was told by this website CSR that I cant return it. Waste of money. BUY SOMETHING SOMEWHERE ELSE, FIND A COMPANY THAT STANDS BEHIND WHAT THEY SELL

I purchased this unit years ago. The slicer works like it should. The build of the unit seems sturdy. The suction cup feet seem like a good idea but without a tab to help unstick them from the table, it's just a matter of time before they tear and become useless. I get they sale replacements, but the replacements do not have a tab to help either so what's the use. The blades work perfectly fine and I have not had an issue with breakage or anything else with them. As long as you core your tomato, sometimes twice as deep, you will save the blade from trying to cut through woody interior of the tomato. We love the suction cups that this slicer has. They are great at keeping it sturdy. The only issue I have is the pusher is not lined up with the blades after a few uses. It could be user error?? But I don't see how it broke so quickly. I am looking to purchase a new pusher for it, to see if maybe we just got a bad set up??
