Very disappointing. The disc I received is defective. They made it a little off and that's more than enough to throw off the accuracy. When in operation, it will shave off the metal lid area and release the black metal contaminants to the sliced food. You might want to buy this at your local restaurant supply store for exchange if needed, because somehow with Webstaurantstore.com, they won't let you exchange for this specific item. I understand if it's the policy for this item at Webstaurantstore.com. So it's better to buy the Robot Coupe stuffs locally where you can exchange, or their products have local representatives to support instead of having to call the warranty number and dealing with all that over the phone.

This blade does not work well in producing a clean cut product. I even contacted the manufacture, and they state this is the correct blade to use. However, I disagree. A curved blade works much better.
