Details
Indulge in a decadently-rich and creamy pasta salad, a traditional, zesty goulash, or an ultra-cheesy pasta casserole, with these Ravarino & Freschi 10 lb. small pasta shells. These pasta shells are petite in size and perfect for adding to any recipe! Pair them with fresh-caught shrimp, crunchy celery, and a creamy sauce for a cold deli salad, or keep them hot and smother them in a classic white sauce, complete with melty butter and aromatic garlic notes. Add ground beef, garden-fresh green pepper, onion, and tomato sauce for a flavorful dish, or turn them into a modern take on macaroni pasta salad with an indulgent mayonnaise and egg base. The options are endless with these small shells.
These pasta shells are made with 100% hard amber durum wheat for the finest durum semolina. This ensures that the pasta stays al dente, even when cooked a bit beyond its specified time. This wheat and other fine ingredients ensure that the delicate texture and flavor of the pasta are also preserved and revived when the pasta is refrigerated to be served later. To cook, simply place in boiling water for 5 minutes. If making in advance for use at a later time, precook for 4 minutes.
Part of the American Italian Pasta Company's (AIPC) family of brands, Ravarino & Freschi is dedicated to integrating the old-world pasta-making experience with state-of-the-art Italian manufacturing equipment. AIPC is the largest producer of dry pasta in North America, with over 99% customer satisfaction. The American Institute of Baking consistently rates AIPC manufacturing facilities "superior" for food safety, cleanliness, and good manufacturing practices. It's no wonder why, in 2001, AIPC added Ravarino & Freschi to its family of brands, and today continues the time-honored commitment to excellent-quality pasta that the company is so well known for. Ravarino & Freschi got its start in 1901 when two Italian immigrants, Giovanni Ravarino & Giuseppi Freschi opened a grocery store in St. Louis, Missouri. The two quickly became known for their outstanding pasta, a product that catapulted them to success and continues to impress.
