R&V Works Cajun Fryer

R&V Works Cajun Fryer

Introducing the original Cajun Fryers by R & V Works! The Cajun Fryer's roots originated back in 1999 in the bayous of Louisiana where fish frying is a way of life. The Cajun Fryer concept soon caught on and has since revolutionized traditional fish frying methods, catapulting our brand throughout the south east and gulf coast regions. Today, Cajun Fryers are sold in all 50 states and many other countries around the world. All of our original Cajun Fryer models are backed by a lifetime warranty and are maxed by our unparalleled customer service. This revolutionary line of premium deep fryers has become an outdoor standard for backyard chefs across the United States. Made in America, Cajun Fryers are unsurpassed in quality, dependability, and craftsmanship, with customer service being second-to-none. Manufactured from 12 gauge steel construction throughout, the success of Cajun Fryers is in the design of the burner flue. The burner is positioned 6 inches above the bottom of the oil reservoir and is at a 45 degree angle. This prevents food and/or batter from collecting on the burner and allows these particles to fall to the bottom. Because heat rises, the oil at the bottom of the reservoir never gets hot enough to scorch the fallen food or batter. This keeps the oil clean for cooking after cooking, while producing that first-batch flavor time and time again. This unprecedented patent pending design will also will also provide an estimated 70 percent reduction in oil usage over traditional fish frying methods. This doubles your oil's life expectancy, resulting in fewer oil changes and more consistent temperatures. What all of this means to the backyard fish frying enthusiasts, is that they will recoup all of their investments in a Cajun Fryer within a short time in oil costs alone versus the traditional method of throwing out a gallon or more every time you cook. Although there have been several lesser quality, less expensive products that have shown up on the market, don't be fooled by imitations. Cajun Fryer is the only brand on the market offering a full range of sizes, from a 2.5 gallon single basket model to a whopping 17 gallon 6 basket model capable of feeding up to 150 people hot food in 1 hour! All Cajun Fryers that are 6 gallons or larger will also fry a 12 to 14 pound turkey for your holiday meals. There's a reason Cajun Fryers are America's number 1 choice when choosing a premium deep fryer for their backyard patio, deer camp, or lake house. Remember, with a Cajun Fryer, you too can fry like a pro every time!

I currently use this fryer to fry Turkeys, Fish, Shrimp, Hand batter chicken tenders, and fresh cut thick fries. It holds a great temperature and everything fries golden brown. Mine was delivered with a damaged boxed and I couldn't determined if the vendor shipped it like that or UPS (the common carrier) damaged the front. My only issue is the quality of the stand. This model is not designed to travel on top of stand. Overall I would recommend this fryer.

I've used this countless times and it never disappoints. I travel with my catering so it's a great addition to my inventory and would highly recommend it.
A beast of a fryer point blank period!! Fries, fish , huspuppies, and even a whole turkey can be fries. Make your next backyard party or tailgate a blast!
Great product. This fryer works great. Just make sure you wash it out when you get it. Fill up with water and check all welds. I had a hole in mine i just got. Had to get it fixed but works great.
This is a fantastic 6 gallon outdoor deep fryer it works great that it heats up the oil fast and keeps a steady temperature I'm pretty impressed with the construction of it it's very nice really can't go wrong with this it's great having a lot of fun with it
I don't know if I received a lemon, the quality assurance person was sick the day they built it, or if the quality has gone way down compared to the other reviews. The welding reminds me of something I would see in high school. It has splatter all over it and some welds that should obviously have been ground and weren't. Combine that with the scratches and spots that have no paint and my excitement at my new purchase became fleeting. I'm not used to purchasing a new product and have it need paint right out of the box. The shipping box didn't show any damage but the bottoms plates were severely bent. I sandwiched the steal plates between wood boards and used clamps get them closer to straight but they spring back some. I wonder if this was used and returned and then shipped to me. The paint in the burn chamber is flaking off. I would expect the heat to do that when it is used not out of the box. Despite all these things I setup the cajun fryer. The assembly instructions were easy to understand and assembly didn't take very long. Attaching the shelf I noticed that the diamond plate is very crooked but at this point I'm not expecting much. It used to be when something was American Made you got quality. Apparently that is not the case here. The next day I washed out the inside with mild soapy water and noticed that despite the drain valve being closed it was leaking. Upon closer inspection I found that it was leaking around the threads and not through the valve so I grabbed some high temperature thread tape and a wrench and unscrewed the valve. To my surprise I found that the threads were stripped and that their was some welding splatter in the threads. So now I have an unusable Cajun Fryer. I need to contact customer service about returning it. For this kind of quality I could have ordered the Chinese made one for cheaper. Very disappointed. Read Less Read More
