These peelers are super sharp so make sure to keep those plastic guards on when not in use. They are comfortable to hold, even when hands are wet. Blades show no sign of rust, maintain a sharp edge. Machine washable is a plus, although some stuck bits might survive the dishwasher cycle. Tips: For the Julien blade, first flatten out the surface of the vegetable. Pierce it with a fork to gain leverage. Apply at least double the pressure you apply with the other two tools. -1 star for flimsy safety covers and relatively difficult use of the julienne peeler.
