The Robot Coupe R2B Food Processor with 3 Quart Gray Polycarbonate bowl is a top-notch device for making purees and other processed items. It is very well built as well.

For a 3qt bowl, it feels like you can fit a bigger batch. The food processor has different settings depending on your needs. I appreciate how clear the bowl is. I can easily see what ingredients are in there and what consistency the food is getting.

I bought this food processor to make Mortadella, big mistake. In the video I was watching they were using an R602 V.V. Thinking this is only a hobby for me the R2UB should be fine. I added 700 grams of meat @ 32°F and 70grams of crushed ice and started the machine, after 10 seconds the overload shut down the machine. I added 30ml of ice water hit the reset and after 15 seconds the machine shut down again. This went on through the whole process reset, reset, reset etc. Adding more ice and water helped but I did not want Mortadella soup. I added 300 grams of back fat for a total of 1000 grams which is about 1.25 quarts of meat, the machine has a 3 quart capacity. The motor is not powerful enough to puree cold (less than 55°F) meat. I did call webstaurantstore before I purchased it, they said it would do the job. That is why only 1 star, the machine is a really high quality product but not for what I needed.

The Robot Coupe works well for your basic kitchen needs, but for the price I would expect it to have attachments or tools with it. For herbs, it does not chop them all the way.

I like this food processor, my only complaint is the top of the blade that comes off broke and now it wont stay on. So if i am spinning liquid it leaks everywhere.

expensive but worth it. nothing does the job quite like a robot coupe. the casing could be a bit tougher but the motor is tough enough to make double batches of hummus with no problems.
