I bought this model after my first one broke. It broke because of user error, not product error. I used to put the blender into almost boiling product and blend it up for a longer amount of time. DO NOT DO THIS. The internal gears in the head are plastic and after the get so hot they strip. Other then stupid user error, the product is a solid piece of equipment. The blade head detaches easily for cleaning.

I've only had this for a couple of weeks but so far I'm very pleased. It's not to heavy or too long but it's a very sturdy and efficient piece of equipment. You can tell this is a top of the line brand and I hope it lasts for a very long time.
Sturdy, well made and a work horse. Size is very big( when you include the handle) so be very careful as to what quantities you will be needing it for.
