Scratch and Dent Estella Caffe ECEM2 Two Group Automatic Espresso Machine - 220-240V

Purchased this machine for our breakfast cafe. It makes amazing espresso and the customers love it. It was an easy installation and works great every time. Produces an excellent shot.

I do not recommend this espresso machine. The machine came defective. The machine makes a horrendous noise after every brew; it's embarrassing. I've had technicians come to take a look at the machine and no one seems to know what the issue is. Be aware!

I am bummed. I have the same exact model at one of my cafes and so I decided to upgrade my other cafe to this model regardless of the reviews I have seen out there since mine has been working fine. It took me a long time to schedule a professional to come out and hook it up to find out that it is defective. He said there was live power within the unit, it was just not connecting somehow. I didn't realize it was a few days after the return period and I can't even send it back. I sent over an email to the warranty department yesterday since it's hard to get them on the phone (they close at 1pm my time). No response from warranty. I'd be happy to remove/update my review if there was a quick resolution. Not sure when I am going to hear back though. In the meantime, don't get this espresso machine based on my experience and a few others.

Now, after reading several negative reviews, I regret not doing so earlier. I purchased my first espresso machine, and it lasted until the end of the warranty period before breaking down. When attempting to have it repaired locally, I was informed that they don’t service that brand and lack the necessary parts. Frustrated, I decided to buy the same model again, hoping to salvage parts from the old one if needed. Unfortunately, my new machine suffered the same fate just after the warranty expired. Determined to avoid another disappointment, I invested in a three-year warranty and sent it to the warranty company for repair. However, it’s been a month, and they still haven’t fixed it. Please do not buy this type of machine. You will regret it.

Set up was easy and are very happy with the quality of espresso this makes. The machine is very sturdy and a beautiful addition to our new Breakfast restaurant.

Extremely Disappointed – All Three Machines Failed Right After Warranty I purchased three units of the Estella Caffe ECEM2 Two Group Automatic Espresso Machine (Item #236ECEM2) from Webstaurant for my three restaurant locations. Unfortunately, all three machines have been a nightmare. Every single unit required multiple major replacements: The main control boards had to be replaced on all three The pressure gauges failed The high voltage switches also went bad To make things worse, all three machines broke down just after the 1-year mark, almost exactly when the warranty expired — clearly not built to last. When I reached out for help, no one could provide a local technician or real support. I was left scrambling, dealing with repairs on my own while trying to keep my restaurants running. These machines are not reliable for commercial use. For the price, I expected quality and durability — instead, I got headaches and mounting repair costs. I do not recommend this product to any business owner. Avoid it if you want peace of mind and long-term functionality.

Pretty disappointed in this machine. It did the job when purchased and the set-up was pretty easy. It did the job until it didn't. In just over a year, it went from working at the end of one shift, to not working at all the next morning. Specialty drinks are a huge part of our daily business and losing this machine on a busy weekend really hurt. We called in a service tech (3 day wait) to learn that the control board etc. had stopped working. Rather than having to wait several more days for them to find parts and schedule the repairs, we shad no other choice but to purchase another machine to get our business back up and running. I realize things don't last forever, but at this price, you would expect more than a years' service. Between the service call fee and the lost sales, this machine really hurt us. I wouldn't recommend this machine if you rely on drink sales to pay your rent, staff etc. I huge let down.

The machine I bought two years ago is the worst I've ever had. It was a waste of my money. I will never buy from Estella again.

I buy it 2 years ago and now its not working the heater water and the steamer I called costumer services they said the warranty is finish they can’t do anything pay 4,000.00 and now they can’t help to with techn .

This espresso machine works great but we struggled installing it because the instructions in the manual were mislabeled. Thankfully the professional technician installing it could decipher it for us.

The machine started leaking right when I used it for the first time to testing it out. I didn't get any help from the selling company or the warranty which it should have been replaced.

Programming doesn't work. We have to manually stop it. When asked a tech to come out he said he came out changed motherboard and said it works. It never worked. Spend a little bit more and get a known brand.

We've had our 3 group for about 6 months now. I'm pretty pleased with it. We are a busy drive thru it keeps up shots no problem. I've noticed if we have back to back hot drinks the steam wand does have difficulty keeping up, but not enough to make a huge difference.

Buyer Beware. Machine threw sparks. See video. Luckily no one was hurt.

Purchased May 2022 and it has worked great for our breakfast restaurant. We just had some work done on it but that is the first issue we've had. Good value that I see as a good starter machine.

Easy setup, easy to use and easy to clean. Would definitely recommend!!!

Writing this review after using the machine for 2 years at a local coffee house. The machine has been great! It was fairly simple to set up and program. We are open 6 days a week 10 hours a day and have never had issue with the machine. As long as you maintain and clean the machine as needed there is no reason it shouldn't last. This is a decent sized investment so make sure to treat the machine good with proper water filters and it will do the job very nicely.

We have three of these machines and love them. The wide gap between group and base means a 16oz cup will fit meaning not having to use shot pitchers. I bought a single group for a friend to place i his house and he loves it. I am upgrading a 3 group Rio with a 3 group Estella. So far these have been outstanding for us.

I have 2 of these. The first I purchased and the only issue I had was normal wear and tear- 1 gasket- it was $ part- replaced gaskets and rings like normal- this is my very busy shop- machine is a work horse after going through 3 others. The second I’ve had a year and in a slower shop - I haven’t had to replace anything.

Absolutely LOVE this machine. We have had it for 6 months and has made our lives so much easier. It was extremely intimidating, but it is the easiest machine we have had. Super easy to clean/flush and makes the best drinks!

We absolutely love this espresso machine. It makes warming milk up so easy and accessible. It was easy to learn how to use on a daily basis. It helps get our busy days through.
