2 bags Numi organic decaf ginger lemon tea
2 cups water
1" piece of fresh turmeric, peeled and cut into pieces
1" piece of fresh ginger, peeled and cut into pieces
1/8 - 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Honey or sweetener to taste (optional)

Place water, turmeric, and ginger in a pot on the stove and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat, add tea bags, cover, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove from stove and strain. Add cayenne pepper and optional sweetener, to taste.
