Mercer Culinary M20410 Genesis® 10" Forged Carving Knife with Full Tang Blade

The Mercer caring knife is great. I was looking for something that I could use on briskets, roasts, melons, and poultry. The edge on this knife is definitely up to the job. I find myself using it daily on some smaller jobs also.

The most important tool in a kitchen is a good , sharp , quality knife and what could be better than purchasing it for a great price . The Mercer 8" culinary knife is the full pkg. Slicing has never felt so good .

Pretty happy with this carving knife. The length is ideal for good sized roasts and it still balances nicely in the hand. The blade is fairly sharp and has picked up no rust after many, many washings. Very happy with this purchase.

This carving knife has a really great grip to it so when your gloves become wet you can still keep a safe hold on your knife. It gets the job done and done well.

Knife arrived beyond sharp! It has maintained its sharpness very well. Excellent for slicing many varieties of meat. Making it able to be a very versatile knife for our kitchen department.

This carving knife comes out of the package sharp, something I come to expect with Mercer knives. I highly recommend buying a guard for this knife it does not come with one.

not a bad economy carving / slicing knife. slices well straight out of the package but likely will need to be sharpened fairly open. seems like a great choice as a workhorse or communal knife.

I love the Mercer line of knives! This one has become my new favorite and go to knife for everything. It is VERY sharp and not heavy like others.

I purchased this item in November and was excited to have a new carving knife to use on the Thanksgiving turkey. I am familiar with the Mercer Genesis line and have purchased about ten other knives from this collection in the past few years. They are razor sharp knives that feel good in-hand. This 10" carving knife did not disappoint. It made quick work of the Thanksgiving turkey (and ham). I would definitely recommend this knife (and others from he Genesis line).

This is our go to knife for carving our large hams and our more delicate corned beef. The blade came sharp and can be easily sharpen as needed. It is nicely balanced with a good grip for the economical price. A good addition to any collection!

The weight and balance are spot on, Long and thin, this knife is perfect for cutting into meats and fish. Fantastic knife.A pleasure to use.

The sharpest knife I have used and could not be more happy! This sliced right through a thick (approximately 1 1/4") piece of meat with no issue at all. We have been in the need of a good knife and this blew our expectation away. We will most definitely be ordering more knives from Mercer. You will not be disappointed.

I use this knife all the time for larger pieces of meat, veggies and even bread. It gets the job done with ease. We use one of the cutting boards and these knives keep their sharp edge well.

Love the size, a lot easier to handle than the long 11" slicing knive. Very controllable with a nice hefty handle. Comes super sharp and ready to cut.
