Because water does not evaporate as quickly as alcohol when exposed to heat, this emulsion will retain its strength and won't bake-out during the baking process, resulting in foods with a more robust cream cheese flavor and aroma. This emulsion offers the ideal alternative to using real cream cheese when making frostings, icings, and glazes. Simply mix with a shelf-stable buttercream frosting to achieve a great-tasting, true cream cheese flavor! Not only will using this emulsion over traditional cream cheese save on time and food cost, it also is a safer choice when serving cakes and other desserts at weddings, outdoor events, or any other event where they will be sitting our for an extended period of time. You can even add to cheesecakes and cookies to deepen their flavor as well as yogurts to create signature cheesecake parfaits for your cafe or breakfast buffet! No matter how you choose to use it, this emulsion is sure to become an essential ingredient in your kitchen.
This emulsion is formulated to be the same strength as a traditional alcohol-based extract, allowing you to substitute 1:1 with an extract in any recipe. To use, simply substitute 1 tsp. of emulsion for 1 tsp. of extract when baking, using a slightly less amount for no-bake items such as frosting or whipped cream. Due to its high water content, this emulsion is not suggested for flavoring chocolate or hard candy. For added benefit, this emulsion is packaged in a BPA-free, recyclable PET plastic bottle.
