Libbey 929799 Hobstar 8.5 oz. Coupe Cocktail Glass - 12/Case

I'm not giving the above low rating because of Webstaurantstore or the design of these glasses. Webstaurantstore provided excellent customer service and took care of my problem. The issue is that the internal structure in what appeared to be Libbey's own packaging boxes did not seem to hold this stemware in place during shipping in the outer shipping boxes. I received both the first shipment and the replacement shipment Webstaurantstore sent me with 10 out of 12 glasses in the first shipment in shards and 3 out of 12 glasses in the second shipment in shards. The issue seems simple; If the boxes are not kept completely upright during shipping, the internal structure of Libbey's packaging box appears to allow it to collapse and the glasses end up in a pile with many broken. This is a really great quality multi-purpose retro style glass that is sure to please. It is a good quality glass with a good weight and is great for serving cocktails or desert and will definitely lift the presentation level of whatever you are serving, I certainly recommend.

These are a really nice shape and quality for the price. I see what other reviewers have said about the seams down the stem, but on mine, they aren't that noticeable. I bought the white wine glass for use with both red and white and it will work fine. I would definitely buy these again.
