So nice to have an extra bowl! I'm not sure if I prefer the J handle to previous designs. it's a bit hard to hold and balance when full, but it scrapes clean and washes up great!

Sturdy bowl and easy to clean. I purchased an extra bowl for my kitchenaid mixer so I can change out mixes easier when working on multiple batches.

Bowl is great, we were worried that it might not fit on our mixer because a lot of times things like that happen with new equipment. But this worked great.

I love the 8QT bowl! I have 2 so that I can work on multiple recipes at the same time. The bowl fits very well into the mixer and the J handle is a pleasure to use!

I love this size kitchenaid. So much more cost effective then the 20 quart, but still able to handle larger production and being run continuously. These bowls go through hell and hold up great.

The mixing bowl works great. We have used it for over a year and a half without any incident at all. It's at a very fair price here on webstaurant as well.

Getting an extra bowl is so vital during a long shift - no need to rinse and reuse and can make several batters at once. I plan to buy several more to speed up productivity even more!

I ordered this together with my commercial kitchenaid 8 Qt, and it fits well. For some reason the bowl looks smaller then the original bowl.

I originally had a Kitchenaid Artisan, bought thought I needed to upgrade, so I bought the 8 Qt. Commercial Kitchenaid. I also got an extra bowl for large baking needs. It was well worth it! I tried to push one of these bowls to the limit. I was able to push through 5 cakes or 5- 2 layer 9" cakes. Granted by the end, I started to mix the last milk in the batter by hand not to splatter and to mix it well, but it came out nice in the end. So safetly It can do 4.5.

I think an extra work bowl for my mixer is a necessity. Although this bowl is large, it is designed to stack for easier storage. The bowl arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was packaged nicely--It is identical to the bowl that came with the mixer.

This is exactly like the one issued with original KitchenAid commercial counter top mixer. I purchased to have an extra bowl and it is perfect.

This bowl has been great for me! It's deep, so the contents stay in and meringues have plenty of wall to cling to as they whip, it's heavy duty, and -best of all - it can go in the dishwasher. I'll probably get another at some point.

We purchased two of these 8 quart stainless steel mixing bowls for extras for my mixer...the J handle makes it easy to hold on to while emptying into pans, I always had trouble with bowls without a handle...very pleased with purchase..good price, good quality for a GREAT product...safely packaged.

I do LOVE these bowls, but we had one for just a few months when the handle completely came off. I bought a new one to replace it which has lasted well, so I am hoping it was simply a one time thing. Overall, they hold up to commercial use well.

After using a 5 qt. bowl for a while this thing is spacious. Not that I ever fill it all the way up, but there is much less mess when using a larger bowl. Having that added capacity for the times when you need to double up your recipe is a nice bonus. This bowl is sturdy yet fairly light and easy to move around. Cleaning is a breeze because it's stainless steel. Very nice product.

I highly recommend purchasing the extra work bowl if you are buying a Kitchenaid stand mixer. It is really nice to not have to stop to wash the bowl between projects.

I have 2 other Kitchen Aid stand mixers. The Artisan 5 Qt, the Professional 6 Qt. I have extra bowls for both of these so I was certainly gonna purchase an extra bowl for my new Commercial Stand mixer. This bowl has a different shape, I really like it. Not that I have a problem with the old designs it is that this design is just more in keeping with a sleeker, more modern look. I purchased the Commercial Stand mixer because honestly the 6 Qt. just wasn't large enough for the way I cook. I do a lot of large batch cooking (to freeze) and although I will always use my other ones there will be many uses for this larger bowl. I does fit into my dishwasher and comes out great, I like the finish as well. I am not sure how to describe it, I think it is called Brushed steel. The older ones are really shiny. These are really attractive. And the size is wonderful. I have had many episodes of flying food from mashed potatoes to hamburger meat. I am really excited that those days are done!!!

We were always in the need of extra mixing bowls to keep up production and this was the answer. Fits and works perfectly with my KitchenAid mixer!
