This is an excellent quality stainless steel mixing bowl. I have two of these to rotate while baking. Couldn’t live without these. Very easy to clean as well.

My bowl started rusting within 24 hours of purchase (after 1 use). I am not sure why, it does not seem to be the norm. KitchenAid redeemed themselves though as they very easily sent out a replacement without any fuss or hassles. I sometimes also wish the bowl was just a smidge wider for easier pouring while it is in the machine, but it isn't too big of an issue.

This is a great bowl for your 6 qt stand mixer. I like the wider design which makes adding ingredients much, much, easier than before.

I’ve never put one of my KitchenAid bowls in the dishwasher for fear of rust, so I was surprised to learn that this one is dishwasher safe. But, it is one of the reasons why I decided to by an extra bowl. Having to clean the bowl between simple everyday tasks got annoying, but now, I have two to work with and it makes things so much easier.

I love this bowl with my kitchen aid mixer. It's wide and deep enough to make anything on a home baker or cook level. Overall a really nice bowl.

this style bowl works with the professional model kitchenaid stand mixers and it locks in quickly and easily. i've never run into any problems with them; they're very sturdy and last a long time even with tons of kitchen abuse

This bowl is identical to the one i received with my KP26M1X, Kitchen Aid Pro 600. It snaps tightly into the arms of the machine and all attachments turn in it as they should. It's also supremely helpful to have a second (or third) bowl on hand for multiple or lengthy projects so you don't have to stop and wash a single bowl multiple times.

I bought this bowl to supplement the one i got with the mixer..now all i use is this one because its light and easier to work with..i recommend it highly!

We think the 6qt size is ideal because it allows us to make larger recipes or double- and triple-batches at once, but still does not have too cumbersome of a size. It is the perfect combination of size and volume for us. We are a gluten-free family, so I make all our own breads and pizza. I make two dozen burger-size buns at a time, and freeze them. We make pizza or stromboli on this machine at least once per week, if not more. Our 6qt stainless mixer bowl pops into the over for 110-degree proofing on the dough for an hour, which saves time and dishes. The bowl is large enough to accommodate a double batch of dough, even after it has risen. It is amazingly convenient and easy to use. A cinch to clean, and a great weight that is durable but light enough to carry all over the kitchen.

Great mixing bowl that fits perfect on my six quart kitchen aid mixer. I'd recommend buying this item. It comes in handy to have two bowls.

I LOVE THIS! I have a KA Professional 600 that I got from Bed Bath and Beyond and this fits that. It is so unbelievably nice to have a second bowl. I bake a lot with my business and it is so nice to have a second bowl! I am going to be getting another one soon.

I am so happy to see this product at Webstaurant. This bowl is sturdy and easy to grip even when I am doing large amounts of batter. The stainless steel is also very attractive. A great product at a great price.

This is a great stainless bowl for the KA Pro 600 mixer. I have 3 of these and love them. It is very durable, and the handle makes it so much easier to pour.

Bought this for our Mixer that was missing its bowl. Must say it;s great to have a fresh owl, and this one is really good. The handle is extremely helpful too. Can't go wrong buying this.

This bowl is a direct replacement for the original that came with the machine. Unlike the original, this one has not developed rust around the spot welds holding the handle and brackets on, hopefully it doesn't either.

This product is great my I purchased this after getting the 8 quart and my mom found it easier to handle ( she's my baker ) love kitchen aid and love this product

I started wishing for a Kitchen Aid stand mixer when I was 14. It took me a decade to get there, though, and I opted for the 6qt Pro. This bowl is the perfect mix of sturdy and light weight. Dozens of cookies, loaves of bread, and even homemade marshmallows that have to be whipped for half an hour - not too much for this bowl. Handwash and dry to keep that nice finish. Ten years after I finally got it, and still going strong.

Solid construction and great for mixing up huge batches of cookies, breads, pasta doughs. I wash by hand and dry shortly after to avoid any rusting.

As a Pastry chef, its great having multiple mixing bowls. I've shopped around and this site has the best price everywhere!!! I will be buying many more of this bowl from here!!!

It's always great to have an extra mixing bowl. You can switch so much easier having a back up. It makes recipes a lot quicker while the other bowl is being washed.

This mixing bowl is fantastic. Its so durable and can handle a heavy wash in the dishwasher, such a nice finish. Definitely a good buy.

What a great buy! I love this stainless steel mixing bowl because it fits right on my six quart mixer and it is the perfect size for the batches of cakes and muffins that I bake very often.
