Bought this a a replacement beater for my K5SS, always opt for the nylon coated over burnished aluminum, because the aluminum will eventually oxidize and start transferring to your food. Works great!

I am so happy to get this replacement paddle. Had been looking for weeks. Even bought and returned a few. The manufacturer was if no help but WebstaurantStore came to my rescue immediately and knew the right part. Mixer working perfectly now.
This is a great attachment for the kitchen aid stand mixers. Cake batters, cookie dough, sweet bread batters, and even shredding chicken can be accomplished with this paddle.
I really enjoy the versatility of this paddle attachment. I've used it for cookie dough, cake batter, and even frosting. It presses through the dough like butter.
Because this beater was made by KitchenAid, it is just as good as the one that originally came with our mixer. The plastic coating makes it easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher.
We purchased this as a replacement for our original paddle which we accidentally put in the dishwasher (burnished aluminum) This paddle is coated and is dishwasher safe. We have been using it for several weeks and is working perfect and problems putting it in the dishwasher.
This is perfect for creaming, you can't beat the versatility of the wonderful kitchen aid flat beater! The coating on the paddle makes it easy to clean too!
