These bowl covers are great for keeping airborne particles out of your food. I uses them between cupcake batches so I don’t have the hassle of dealing with plastic wrap that never seems to stick to these bowls. You can also use them to proof your bread too, but leave the lid partially cracked or else it will expand and pop off as the dough rises and the gases are released.
This lid perfectly covers the bowls for my tilt-head KitchenAid mixer. I am not sure how I went so long not realizing this existed, this makes it so much easier to store things made in the KitchenAid. The material seems heavy duty, it is dishwasher safe, and seals well.
