KitchenAid KHBC310OB 300 Series 10" Two-Speed Immersion Blender - 1/2 HP

Complete piece of garbage. The power button is nearly impossible to ho down, even with two hands. The two speeds don't work, essentially making it a single speed. The seals on both ends of the blender blades and shaft wore out with in a few months allowing water inside the shaft. It is extremely difficult to join the shaft and the motor together. Do Not Buy This! It is a pile of complete garbage.

It works. But…. poor design and manufacturing. Attachment difficult to lock into place, and more difficult to remove. On off switch awkward to use. It is recessed into handle so that it takes more force than it should to turn on.

Lots of power, 2 speeds, easy to clean, and has a heavy duty cord. The bad; the buttons are super hard to push for extended or multiple batch use, it leaves my hands sore and tired for days. It's also hard to remove the attachment after soiled with product. I would NOT purchase again, unless they replaced the buttons with simple switches or easy to touch buttons.

I was really excited to use this. The first 2 times I used it was fine however,it started making terrible grinding sounds when in use and gets hot very quickly. After the 5th time I used it a black fluid came pouring out of the shaft and ruined my batch. I cant use it now. Im thinking about ordering a replacement shaft but I feel like its a waste of $$. The attachment needs to be cleaned but doesnt come apart to clean it thoroughly.

Went through 3 arms on this thing at a replacement cost. Finally tosstyhe whole thing in the garbage. What a waste of money.

Don't bother. Not commercial grade. Died within 1 year. Trying to get service or a replacement is almost impossible. Still haven't gotten a replacement.

We used this immersion blender for only a couple weeks before the apparatus that made the blade turn stopped clicking into place, rendering it useless. KitchenAid replaced it and a year later the same thing has happened again. We use it twice a week for soup. I do not suggest purchasing this item.

Blender is getting the job done. Using it to blend our refried beans, which are about the consistency of mashed potatoes. Love that we don't have to use a drill with a mixing wand attachment anymore. This product gives me confidence that the blender and blade are clean and sanitary for mixing food!

Not commercial grade. Burned out two motors within 2 months of purchases. The body on first one fell apart and had to tape to use just after 2 weeks. Look for a better quality company than kitchen Aid.

this blender is not commercial grade at all!!! the cooling fan and vents are poorly designed, over-heats easily! not worth the money, buy something else!

this may be a decent immersion blender, but it is VERY heavy. it is hard to hold steady for long, and definitely requires two hands to operate, making it impractical to use. i do appreciate that the blade is detachable.

Don't bother with this one. It's less expensive, but compared to other 1/2hp units from other brands, it falls short on mixing power, even on high speed.

I would highly recommend this commercial blender. It is made of heavy duty quality materials. I also like that is has a safety lock on it.

This is the strongest immersion blender we have had to date. You cannot go wrong with the KitchenAid brand, and this immersion blender, in particular, is a no brainer. The cost is on par with the competition, however the 115V, 1/2 hp motor is so much better than the other options out there. You won't regret this purchase!

This is a great immersion blender. I really like having the two speed option. It also has a long cord so finding a outlet it will reach is easy now.

I reviewed a lot of immersion blenders before I picked this one. We do half light ranch and half regular ranch mixture for our salad bar and this works great for mixing the ranch in the tall gallon containers the ranch comes in. This reaches the bottom of the container with no problems. It is a BIG heavy duty blender and takes some strength to use and keep control.

Powerful Motor and easily disassembles for thorough cleaning. Included mounting rack is extremely useful it helps keep machine sanitary. My staff love this tool much more than the warring
