Galaxy 7" Light-Duty Variable Speed Immersion Blender with 7" Whisk Attachment

The motor seems fine. The shaft seems to be the weak link for the Galaxy blender. The seal might last for one use, ten uses, or one hundred, but it will fail. This also presents a health risk as food residue will get caught in the seal and will not wash out. Food poison ing is very possible after food residue sits under the seal. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt the need in this case! The manufacturer should look into the seal assy. and find a solution before someone gets very ill.

Tried to whip some already mashed potatoes and the motor burned up and the whips broke.

Dont waste your money on these, I only used it twice and for like 3-5 min max before it stop working,not worth the money and problem

Whisk attachments broke after using several times; The machine still works with other blending part though. If you need to whisk, this may not be for you.

Didn't even last 4 months of light use- three times a week to mix up liquids.

The motor gave out on us after 6 months of semi-regular use. I recommend getting a higher quality and more expensive brand that will last you longer.

We opened a cafe 6 days ago, so this thing lasted 6 days and motor already broke. We were whipping tart frostings, so even nothing heavy duty broke it this fast

After about a month, I'm very happy with this immersion blender. Cons: it's loud, and the speed dial marking is counter-intuitive. Pro: it's powerful, doesn't overheat, does a great job making tomato sauces, roast pepper soup, pureed cauliflower, vegan cheese. Easy to clean. It's big, but not super big, and without the wand it stands upright out of the way along the back of my counter, so it doesn't take up drawer space. I think/hope it's got a sealed bearing. So far I've not seen food fluids leaking out of either end of the wand, which was a problem with every other stick blender we ever tried. If it continues performing the way it has so far, I'll be very, very happy with this purchase.

DO NOT BUY! Just started using this 3 weeks ago and only was used 1 time each week when we operate and it burnt up and died already and mind you , we only use this to whip cream cheese and whipped cream LOL like what a joke! I contacted customer service because it’s passed the return period so I hope they can help . But save your self the trouble and don’t bother with this !

I’ve had this for 2 years with light home use - mostly soups, maybe twice a month in the cooler months. I had the same issue that the others had. The blade locked up and stopped, but the motor works. Am hesitant to buy a new shaft since it sounds like there are manufacturing or design issues. My last immersion blender was for the home market and lasted more than 10 years.

This blender was not even able to handle more than 10 minutes of work load with the whisk attachment before burning out the motor. I was mixing some very loose donut glaze and after a burning smell it just gave out. No joke, 10 minutes after I took it out of the box! Complete waste of money.

Worked great while it lasted. Bought this after burning up residential style immersion blenders in less than a year. Was hoping paying a little more would be worth it. Unfortunately this stopped working after 6 months of use. Mine the motor stopped working. Maybe time to spend a little more on a quality product.

Love the fact that it offers different speed options. We only need this blender for our prep. Durable and strong, highly recommended.
