This heavy-duty King Electric DFC-48B 48" 2-speed fixed belt drive industrial drum fan provides an even steady airflow. Keep your staff cool and your establishment ventilated with this highly dependable fan. With a whopping 17,800 CFM this fan is perfect for commercial applications such as warehouses and provides exceptional durability and quality.
Compared to direct drive fans this fan is incredibly quiet but powerful thanks to its 3/4 hp belt drive motor. Not only is it quiet the belt drive uses a lower power load giving your motor a longer life. The 2-speed switch allows you to choose between a low and high airflow output depending on the environment. Constructed of heavy-duty 20 gauge steel and covered with a scratch-resistant green powder coat the drum is reinforced with welded cross braces for years of use. Not only that steel fan guards prevent the 4 aerodynamically balanced blades from being damaged. The blades are made of noncorrosive aluminum and will hold up well under a commercial environment.
With a 9' grounded cord this fan can be plugged in and placed almost anywhere. Wheels on the base of the fan provide even more flexibility and make sure that moving the fan is a breeze allowing you to easily roll it to the location of your choice. The built-in cord wrap prevents staff from tripping over an unwound cord when not in use. This unit requires a 120V connection for operation.
