It has a loud piezoelectric horn that emits 85 decibels at 10' away to audibly alert patrons. This is paired with a voice warning system that says "fire!" after every 3 beeps. This unit also includes a low-profile, bright 177 candela strobe light that is designed to alert the deaf and hard of hearing.

This alarm features a test feature to ensure that it is functioning properly, while the smart hush control allows you to temporarily silence nuisance alarms for up to 10 minutes. For your convenience, this alarm is interconnectable with up to 24 Kidde devices such as smoke, carbon monoxide, and heat alarms (sold separately). The strobe light will automatically synchronize with any interconnected devices.

This unit can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It includes a red LED light that indicates alarm mode and a green LED light to indicate that AC power is present.
